Introducing the WO3 Movement! 

When Tammi Relyea and I first connected, she mentioned that a lot of people tell her that she thinks “too big” and that her ideas are “crazy”. That’s when I knew we were going to be besties. 

The Mamahood is ALL about thinking big and encouraging women to support and uplift each other, so when she shared that she’d launched a movement called WO3 that does just that, I was all in. 

What’s WO3 exactly?

WO3 is a national day that encourages women to come together for just one day to partner, promote or support any woman-owned/women-led business!

Who’s Tammi Relyea? 

Tammi is the Founder of BRA-sériē, a fashion brand that revolutionizes the exposed bra strap into something elevated, fun, spectacular. It’s such a simple concept, but I personally love the symbolism around taking something mundane and functional and transforming it into something special. I also love taking something historically hidden or even shameful (that ugly strap we’re trying to pretend doesn’t exist) and owning it, embracing it, showing it off instead. 

Her journey as an entrepreneur introduced her to the struggles that all women-owned businesses still face - of lacking exposure and representation, and also the superpowers that women tend to embody - of being natural cheerleaders, supporters who thrive in community settings. And she put those together into creating WO3, a national day where we do just that: support and uplift our fellow women entrepreneurs! 

WO comes from women, and the 3 comes from the three ways women can support each other on March 26th: Partner, Promote & Support.
